Article Processing Charge (APC)

The World Nutrition Journal charges the following author fees:

1. Submission Fee: IDR 250,000

A Submission Fee of IDR 250,000 is required when the manuscript is submitted to the journal.

This fee covers the initial administrative processing, manuscript screening, and similarity checking prior to further editorial evaluation.

Payment of the Submission Fee does not guarantee acceptance or publication of the manuscript. All submitted manuscripts remain subject to the journal’s editorial evaluation and peer-review process.

2. Article Publication Fee: IDR 1,250,000

If the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors will be required to pay an Article Publication Fee of IDR 1,250,000 to cover editorial and publication costs.

The Article Publication Fee is charged only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Publication Fee Waiver Policy

The World Nutrition Journal is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent valuable research from being published. Authors who are unable to cover the Article Publication Fee may request a waiver under the following conditions:

Waiver Request
Authors must submit a written request by email or formal letter at the time of manuscript acceptance. The request should include a brief explanation of the financial circumstances and, where applicable, information regarding institutional or research funding support.
Case-by-Case Review
All waiver requests will be reviewed individually by the Editorial Board. While the journal will consider authors experiencing financial constraints, waiver approval cannot be guaranteed and remains at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
Extent of Waiver
A waiver may be granted either partially or in full, depending on the author’s circumstances and the Editorial Board’s assessment.
Author Responsibility
Authors who receive a publication fee waiver are encouraged to support the journal by sharing and promoting their published work through relevant academic and professional networks to increase its visibility and impact.
