World Nutrition Journal – Volume 9, Issue 1 (August 2025) This issue presents new insights across clinical and community nutrition. The editorial highlights a human rights approach to clinical nutrition, emphasizing strategies to address disease-related malnutrition in resource-limited settings, particularly in Asia and Indonesia. In clinical studies, evidence shows probiotics can reduce inflammation and improve outcomes in burn patients, while nutritional management plays a pivotal role in preventing stroke and supporting recovery through dietary strategies such as the DASH diet, omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and B vitamins. The community nutrition section examines key public health challenges in Indonesia. Topics include links between food security and stunting among toddlers, barriers in malnutrition program reporting, and associations of nutrition and body composition with health outcomes in students and pregnant women. Studies address anemia, vascular elasticity, VO₂ max, sleep quality, and eating behavior, underscoring the impact of diet and lifestyle on health across the life cycle.
