Post-Publication Discussion Policy
World Nutrition Journal supports constructive scholarly discussion of articles after publication in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Readers are encouraged to submit comments, questions, or substantive critiques concerning published articles to the journal’s Editorial Staff email in worldnutritionjournal@gmail.com.
Comments, questions, or critiques should be in Letter to Editors form. Please download the template here.
Post-publication discussion may address the interpretation of findings, methodology, analysis, or other scientific aspects of the published papers.
The Editorial Board will assess submitted discussions for relevance, scientific validity, professionalism, and potential conflicts of interest. Where appropriate, the original authors may be invited to respond, and the journal may publish both the critique and the authors’ response to facilitate balanced and transparent scholarly discussion.
Post-publication comments must be evidence-based, respectful, and free from defamatory, discriminatory, or personal statements. The journal reserves the right to decline or remove comments that do not meet these standards.
If a post-publication discussion raises concerns regarding errors, research integrity, ethical misconduct, or the reliability of the published findings, the Editorial Board will investigate the matter in accordance with the journal’s Correction, Retraction, and Withdrawal Policy and applicable COPE guidance.
World Nutrition Journal is committed to maintaining an open, constructive, and transparent scholarly record while ensuring that all post-publication concerns are handled fairly and consistently.
