World Nutrition Journal (WNJ), Volume 10, Issue 02 – August 2026 The August 2026 issue of World Nutrition Journal (Volume 10, Issue 02) presents a broad range of studies in clinical nutrition, critical care, community nutrition, metabolism, and functional foods. This issue opens with an editorial on the role of the microbiome and metabolomics in personalized ICU nutrition. The Clinical Nutrition section highlights nutritional therapy in cancer care, vitamin D in COVID-19 and asthma, protein and branched-chain amino acid intake in head and neck cancer, and energy and protein adequacy in severe burn injury. The Community Nutrition section covers important public health topics including sedentary behaviour and diabetes risk, complementary feeding and stunting, brown rice and inflammatory response, arterial elasticity, sustainable diets, ultra-processed food consumption, Ramadan fasting, maternal BMI, and cognitive function in older adults. The Food and Nutrition / Functional Food section features a review on the potential of propolis for cardiometabolic improvement in type 2 diabetes mellitus. This issue reflects WNJ’s continued commitment to publishing research that advances nutrition science, supports evidence-based practice, and contributes to better health outcomes across populations. The next issue of World Nutrition Journal will be published in February 2027. Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts for consideration.
