World Nutrition Journal (WNJ), Volume 9, Issue 01 – February 2026 The February 2026 issue of World Nutrition Journal (Volume 9, Issue 01) presents a diverse collection of scholarly articles addressing current advancements and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition, functional food research, metabolism, and community nutrition. This issue opens with an editorial highlighting the strategic importance of nutrition assessment in surgical patients to improve clinical outcomes. The Clinical Nutrition section features systematic and evidence-based analyses, including prognostic evaluations of nutritional indices in critically ill and oncology patients. In the Food and Functional Nutrition category, original research explores postprandial oxidative stress differences between brown and white rice consumption. The Nutrition and Metabolism section discusses cancer-associated cachexia, the role of vitamin D, innovations in iron nanoparticle fortification, and contemporary nutrition strategies for obesity management. The Community Nutrition section emphasizes life-cycle nutrition research, including studies on dietary patterns, physical activity, overweight incidence among adolescents, and the association between blood glucose levels, body mass index, and menstrual cycle patterns among female medical students. This issue reflects WNJ’s continued commitment to publishing high-quality research that advances nutritional science, supports clinical practice, and promotes public health development globally. The next issue of World Nutrition Journal will be published in August 2026. Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts for consideration, with the latest submission deadline in May 2026.
